I averaged 2 games before I had a severe sprain on one of my ankles, and I actually have part of the bone on the outside of my ankle missing because of a scissor tackle on it. Glad im not the only one with this problem, once in highschool my friend was reading the highlights of our match over the loudspeaker and referred to me as the oft injured ball wizard, which as you could imagine didnt go down well with the perverted teenager barn known as a highschool. I have similar problems with my shoulders. The bone can't stay in the socket and so it slips out of place at inopportune times like when I'm sleeping(3 times so far). And I'm only 22. The surgery they want me to have involves the same things but they told me it would take at least a year to recover and that I should stop school, work, etc during recovery.
