STEROIDS
By: Anthony | December 4th, 2008
No, not really, no one’s on any type of drug. Well not physically anyway. But its basically the same thing as.
First of all we’re back to our winning ways in the UEFA Cup rebounding from that tough loss against Standard Liege about a month ago in Belgium. Secondly, Fabiano looked amazing last night, not only scoring two, keeping his temper (probably because we were winning throughout the match) and also creating so many other chances. This is like a serious shot of steroids not only to Fabiano’s confidence, but for the whole team.
Let’s face it, against Barça, Fabiano was invisible, frustrated and all of it resulted in him acting stupid and getting a useless red which will keep him out of the game Sunday against REAL MIERDA.
So basically this is how it went down. This match didn’t matter to Partizan at all because they were already eliminated regardless of the result.
It started dramatically though as Moreira, the Partizan midfielder collapsed in the fourth minute with what looked like he had swallowed his tounge. All to familiar to us Sevilla faithful, the doctors, paramedics, and other medical staff rushed out and took him striaght to the hospital.
That was the only highlight Partizan had though (all respect due) as the rest was all Sevilla. Duscher, Navas, Renato, and Maresca all troubled the Belgrade keeper before finally on the 32nd minute Navas was tripped up in the box and awarded a penalty. Fabiano struck it perfectly making the keeper go the opposite way and we led 1-0. Going into half we dominated but couldn’t notch that second so it stayed 1-0 at the half. It didn’t take long though to get another as right on the 46th minute the Partizan midfield was passing the ball around so sloppy that Renato just took the ball away and hit it on the run to place it perfectly in the bottom left corner. GOLAZZO. It wasn’t over however as Fabiano hit a stunner into the bottom right corner, way out of the grasp of the Partizan keeper.
Overall it was an amazing game, against garbage opposition, this is true, but none the less, a great confidence boost. Being able to come back like that and reverse the result from that of the Barça game to me is pretty impressive and hopefully its the perfect thing before Sunday.
Winning games = STEROIDS FOR CONFIDENCE
Drugs are good.
