Spanish National Anthem Words

By: Ryan | September 13th, 2007

I take this time out of my day, to submit my words for the Spanish National Anthem. In case you are wondering what the hell I’m talking about, historically the Spanish Anthem does not have any words sung, due to the fact that they were ‘removed’ after Franco died. They symbolize his regime and what was a dark time for many of us Spaniards.

Without further adu, my submission, sung to the well known classic, America, Fuck Yeah.

España…
España…
España, FUCK YEAH!
Coming again, to save the mother fucking day yeah,
España, FUCK YEAH!
Freedom is the only way yeah,
ETA your game is through cause now you have to answer too,
España, FUCK YEAH!
So chupame la polla, and suck on my bolas,
España, FUCK YEAH!
What you going to do when we come for you now,
it’s the dream that we all share; it’s the hope for manaaaaaana

FUCK YEAH!

Magnum bars, FUCK YEAH!
Feria, FUCK YEAH!
Zara, FUCK YEAH!
Futbol, FUCK YEAH!
La liga, FUCK, YEAH!
Flamenco, FUCK YEAH!
Bullfights, FUCK YEAH!
Ibiza, FUCK YEAH!

FUCK YEAH!
Cruzcampo, FUCK YEAH!
Paella, FUCK YEAH!
Botellón, FUCK YEAH!
Madrid, FUCK YEAH!
Topless beaches, FUCK YEAH!
Honey Rum, FUCK YEAH!
Penelope Cruz, FUCK YEAH!
Cheap Wine, FUCK YEAH!
Almodovar, FUCK YEAH!
United colors of Benetton (Fuck yeah, Fuck yeah)

Paella is actually Valencian which some would argue is more Catalan than Spanish.

    …sorry.

And Catalonia is still part of Spain, along with Valencia. As much as ‘they’ (non extreme Catalans aside) want to be on their own, they are still part of Spain, no matter how you slice it.

Hello, I am the author of this video, I am catalonian and of course and proud, spanish. The problem in Spain now a days is identification, nobosy really know to what culture we belong, who we have to listen to, extreme nationalism want us to defend our culture, specially or language and want to desintigrate this country, they care more for that than for trying to unify the country a create a really spanish nationalism even when everybody know that the union makes the force. It is sad, looks like the begining of the end has already started in Spain. Personally, I hope I can die seeing a unify and stronger Spain but our politicians are douchbags unfortunately.
(valencian and catalonian are basically the same language, I would say the diference between catalonian and valencian is the same diference between english from the USA and english from England)
    Viva España

    Victor,

Thanks for the comment. By night I do my blogging here, but by day I’m a Sociolinguist and have studied Catalan and it’s position, usage, structure, etc for quite some time now. I agree, in terms of ‘a language’ Catalan is Valenciano, just with a few dialectal differences. It’s really more of a dialect than anything! (shh don’t tell them that) It’s a bit more complicated than the English in the US to England change, but not much more.

And yes, the politicos in Spain are douchebags. From Rajoy to Zapatero, douchebags all around.
