I think if he can pick up the language and stay around long enough he'll be the future captain, no problem. He's just a solid defender and a great leader on the pitch. I never rated him much before, probably just because he's not Thuram. But then nobody is. But since Thuram, we've been alternating between Mexes and Abidal and Boumsong, and suddenly Squillaci is looking so...so...stable. Has he been doing well for you guys?
