Navarro is a great player but Adriano is better, I think he showed that last year and all should agree on this point he played in every position except for playing as a goal keeper but when palop retires he’ll be our goalie

curious… but would you all really rather have adriano starting at left back than freddi navarro? he was very solid last year. adriano might be able to attack more out of the back though. it gives us two different attacking philosophies/looks though.

and im still very unresolved in the romaric/renato debate. i find renato SO frustrating and would probably prefer romaric to partner with his fellow ivoirian…

I would like to see him come here so we would not have to play renato and adriano as strikers when fabiano is injured and kanoute and kone are at the africa cup of nations

Anyway i think with chevanton-he’s spent most of the last few years on the medical table and we dont really need him. I think the best thing we can do is sell cheva and with the money from him and maresca buy oneyoung forward and one who’s slightly more experienced because kanoute is going to lose his form soon(he’s 31) and fabiano’s 28 so i think we need to get rid of cheva keep kone for a couple of seasons and then sell him off along with kanoute (he’ll be 33-34 by then or if he’s still good keep him) and gradually give the new strikers more playing time.

We still own Chevanton, but I get the feeling that his time is up. He’s already been linked with Espanyol & Fiorentina.

edinho, i forgot there’s the africa cup of nations, of now the team will go shaky when those players leave, but I’m hopeful that duscher and renato would step up, one question, do we still own chevanton?

I’m just glad that we’re getting our targets. Although I’m not a fan of the Zokora signing, I will never doubt Monchi. I’m just worried that in the crucial month of January, where we’ll most likely still be in the Copa del Rey, we’ll be without Zokora, Romaric, Kanoute, and maybe even Kone, who will all be going to the African Cup of Nations. That’s why I think we shouldn’t even be considering selling Fabiano. Also, I would’ve hoped this swap deal included Apoño, so we could have more depth in midfield. But all in all, so far so good. I just wish Fuentes (Fabiano’s agent) would keep his mouth shut.
