Dani Alves is NOT leaving…again
By: Ryan | August 16th, 2007Okay, so I decided I won’t even try to report on what is going on with Dani Alves anymore.
Today, I woke up to the headlines on ESPNSoccernet reporting that Sevilla has rejected the offer for Alves saying it was in essence too low.
‘Sevilla would like to clarify, in relation to the news in various media stories relating to negotiations between this club and Chelsea of England for the transfer of the player to the London club, that Sevilla has considered the offer made by Chelsea to acquire the player as way below the level expected by the club (Sevilla).
So basically it is just a money issue now and now we play the waiting game.
So until I see Alves in a Chelsea kit at Stamford Bridge, being hugged by Jose Mourinho, eating fish and chips in the rain, thats all I have to say about that.

I dont think blues will pay ransom for Sevilla’s demands. BTW isnt he interested in moving to Real? They will pay whatever demanded.

Dani Alves is the Brazilian Cristian Chivu. Except better.
And they won’t take 36m? He’s good. He’s not THAT good. That’s ridiculous. Take it and run.

I thought they rejected €32m…and now Marca is saying €37m and Cicinho for Alves and Puerta is the offer from RM. Ridic.

Chelsea will pay up, since they badly need a decent rightback, and since when has money been an issue for them?
But anyway, congratulations on winning the Super Cup. Great stuff.
(Hi and a very belated welcome! Always nice to see more La Liga bloggers, especially for a team like Sevilla who are frankly under-represented.)
